History & Heritage
“The journey of a thousand always begins with one step.”
In 1953, Mr. Eshan Kareem commenced operations with the modest production of 60 buffalo hides per day. Further encompassing the heritage of innovation and reinventing leather to Mr. Iftikhar Amin and Iqbal Ahsan, carving the path of growth with better infrastructure enabling it to be listed in Bombay Stock Exchange(BSE) in 1993.
In several years STL became kingpin in the global supply chain by exporting to over 40 countries in the World. With 68 years of experience in exporting high grade equestrian equipment around the globe, in 2022 STL registered future equestrian production with its own brand name “Equestria”.
At present, STL is an ISO and SA certified company that produces 2000 hides of Indian buffalo and 500 hides of European cows per day. With more than 5 Independent manufacturing units, producing utmost quality products for top-notch European and American brands with 3 self-owned trademarks.

Welfare
Giving back to the society is one of the prime responsibilities of an industry and Super Tannery firmly believes and acts on this notion. The company runs an organization by the name of Amin Welfare Trust (AWT), which is involved in education and healthcare, besides organizing numerous charitable activities in the region. AWT operates a hospital known as Chaudhry Ehsan Kareem Hospital situated in the industrial area of Jajmau. It provides medical facilities in the fields of Neurology, Vision, Dentistry, Endocrinology and Pre/Post Maternal Care.

AWT runs an educational institution by the name of Super International School, which provides excellent standards of education at a nominal cost.
